Jambhala (Yellow Kubera) / Five Color Oxidized Statue

Description

God of Wealth, the Buddhist from of Kubera. As Yi-dam is called Jambala, probably from the Jambhara (lemon) which he carries in his right hand. He is rather fat and prosperous looking. He holds a money bag and coins. His crown may contain an image of Ratnasambhava. Like Kubera, he is attended by a mongoose that vomit jewels. There is a white form of jambhala holding a trident and sceptre. He is seated sideways on a dragon.
