Three Sets Of Buddha / Five Color Oxidized Statue

This three sets of Buddha include : Akshobhya Buddha, Bhaisajya Buddha and Amitabha Buddha.

Akshobhya is next importance among the Dhyani Buddhas. He is regarded as the second Dhyani Buddha by the Nepalese Buddhists. Akshobhya originates from the blue syllable Hum. He is two armed and one faced and exhibits the Bhusparsa (earth touching) mudra which means calling the earth for witness, and sits in the Vajraparyanka pose. He represents the primordal cosmic element of Vijnana (consiousness). When represented in the Stupa, he always faces the east. His left hand rests on the lap, while the right rest on the right knee with the tip of the middle fingers touching the ground with palm shown inwardly.

Bhaisajyaguru is known as Medicine Buddha. He is also called the Healing Buddha. He is said to dispense spiritual medicine when properly worshipped. It is even believed that an efficacious  cure maybe accomplished by merely touching the image. In Tibet, he may be represented either as a Buddha or as a Bodhisattwa. As a Buddha, he has the urn (small round bulge or protuberance above the bridge of the nose) the fourth superior marks of a Buddha Ushnisha (A bulge or protuberance in the skull of the Buddha the first superior marks of a Buddha) short and curly hair. He wears a monastic robe, is seated with the legs crossed. His left hand lying in his lap in meditation mudra, usually holds the medicine bowl, while the right hand in charity mudra holds either a branch with fruit, or the fruit alone, of the myrobalan, as medicinal plant found in India and other tropical countries.

Amitabha is the most ancient Budhha among the Dhyani Buddhas. He said to reside in the Sukhabati heaven in peaceful meditation. He is of red color originating from the red syllable HRIH. He represents cosmic element of ‘Sanjna’. His vehicle is peacock. He exhibits Samadhi Mudra with his two palms folded face up one on top of the other lying on his lap. He has a lotus at his sign. When represented on the stupa, he always faces the west. He is worshipped thinking that one can have salvation. Sometimes holding a Patra on the same posture. His female is Pandara. Amitabha denotes “Boundless light”or “Incomprehensible”.
